What a fun afternoon! I introduced belly breathing earlier in the class as a calm down strategy. We practiced both sitting up and lying down so the students would understand that belly breathing can be done in all types of settings and any time of day.
We then made these fun eye pillows! Using their sense of smell, they got to choose their favorite essential oil to make their pillow smell wonderful. The kids were so excited to take these home and use them to relax and reconnect with their breath outside of class.
